Social networking web sites provide us the opportunity to label ourselves. So, here are a few of mine in no particular order: 56%/44% Left Brain dominant, ISTJ Personality, Thinker, Reader, Writer, Intellectual, Athlete, Competitor, Libertarian, Agnostic, Art-Appreciator, Romantic, Social Butterfly, Researcher, Teacher, Adrenaline Junkie, Musician, Fashionista, Neat Freak, Leo, Perfectionist, and Efficiency Freak.
My sense of humor tends toward dry and witty, my fashion sense is sartorial, and my financial sense is conservative (save as planned, then spend the rest). I don’t watch a lot of television but, when I do, I prefer cable news, BBC, horse shows on OLN, and “Burn Notice” and “La Femme Nikita” reruns on USA. My favorite type of music is good music, regardless or genre. For example, I appreciate Rachmaninov, Eminem, Tool, Rob Zombie, and Garth Brooks, sometimes within a single, 24-hour period.
When it comes to work, I go for maximum results in minimum time. But, to be honest, I still am developing the minimum time aspect. My work experience has taught me that I am most productive and fulfilled when I work autonomously to provide outstanding service and work product to my clients, without having to manage employees or co-workers who may or may not share my personal, business, and work ethics.
The following are some other random bits of information about me: I am five minutes late, perpetually. I am a very passionate person who enjoys giving my best to everything I choose to do. I am tolerant to the nth degree, except of closed minds, purposeful ignorance, and malice. And, if ever I did settle down, I think I would want two homes. One would be a house, on five to twenty acres, where I would keep my cats, dogs, and horses. The other would be a nice flat in the city, within walking distance to everything. I am a big-city person first and foremost, but I also love animals, hiking, and the peace and beauty of the countryside. |
